Chris holds a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Biostatistics from the University of
Minnesota. His experience includes a management position at Medtronic, Founder and
CEO of The Integra Group, and Founder and CEO of MicroOptx. The Integra Group was a
medical device-focused medical research organization that he eventually sold to NAMSA.
The Integra Group grew to over 100 employees and, at the time of the sale, was working
with over 400 medical device companies. During this time, Chris was intimately involved in
over 40 original PMA approvals, 60 510(k) clearances, and nine FDA advisory panels. While
leading MicroOptx, Chris raised over $25M (US) to support research and development while
overseeing initial clinical trials. Chris has also served as a strategic advisor to numerous
medical device companies – from early start-ups to some of the World’s largest MedTech
companies.
