Ale is Venture Partner at NLC and brings over 20 years of experience in the MedTech
industry, including leadership positions at the Image Guided Therapy division of Philips.
After starting his career in CV translational research, he covered management positions
at Philips where he led two corporate ventures from concept validation to successful
market launch and business scaling. At NLC, he manages a portfolio of >10 medtech &
digital ventures working with strong focus on CV innovation. Ale is also founder of
IMAGen Health, which works closely with promising startups developing their clinical and innovation strategy and building communities of early adopters.
Ale holds a MSc in
Biomedical engineering from Politecnico di Milano and Eindhoven University of Technology, a PhD in Biomedical sciences from Imperial College London and an
executive diploma in New Business Development from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University.
